Call for Application for Training on Quantitative and Qualitative Research Skills

 

On behalf of the Data for Development Program implemented by The Asia Foundation in partnership with Development Initiatives, we would like to invite you to an interactive training on Quantitative and Qualitative Research Skills, which will be held on: 

  • Quantitative Research Skills: Tuesday, 18th June to Thursday, 20th June 2019
  • Qualitative Research Skills: Tuesday, 25th June to Thursday, 27th June 2019  

The training aims to improve the technical research skills. Through two sets of 3-day training courses, participants will grow their ability to conduct qualitative and quantitative research. Candidates may apply to one or both of these courses. For more detailed information on each of the trainings and the trainers, please refer to the attached applications form. 

The training will include interactive sessions with practical exercises. Throughout the training, participants are expected to complete specific assignments that will be linked to their work to ensure applied learning. Prior to the training, there will be a short interview with participants to identify specific learning needs. Following the training, participants will be expected to share their learning with others in their organization and the Program will organize a  follow-up meeting to allow participants to share learning with others.

A maximum of two participants per organization can apply to the training. Each applicant is requested to complete the attached application forms.
